Desperate to help her ailing brother, a young woman agrees to compete in a deadly game of Would You Rather, hosted by a sadistic aristocrat…
WOULD YOU RATHER is a psychological thriller that explores economic inequality, the potential consequences of Social Darwinism, and power games. The film has been compared by critics to a less controversial version of Pasolini’s SALO, or a current reality version of HUNGER GAMES. Other critics have described the movie as a “financial morality play with spirit and wit” — one that is “guaranteed to rile up even the most jaded viewer,” while presenting a “portrait of human nature as it is faced with a cold reality of choice and survival.”
“A bloody rare turn at classic murder mystery…”

Somewhere between a crack-addled ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and a modern vision of ‘Taxi Driver’, ALYCE KILLS runs riot as a gritty psychological thriller set against the backdrop of Echo Park, Los Angeles’ pinnacle of urban hipster culture.
After accidentally causing her best friends horrific death, Alyce is haunted by guilt and delves into a brutal nightmare wonderland of sex, drugs and violence, her mind tearing itself apart… Along with anyone else who gets in her way.
ALYCE KILLS serves as an antidote to Generation X and Y movies that tend to either celebrate young “slackers” as heroic anti-heroes, or portray them as stereotypical oppressed victims. Comparing the film to Polanksi’s REPULSION, Slant magazine glowingly reviewed ALYCE KILLS as a “parody of unearned self-entitlement, of people who feel tricked into a lifestyle they refuse to challenge for the comforts it still offers.” Critic Chuck Bowen went on to note that the film “coaxes out the anger that is latent in the prototypical middle-class arrangement, allowing worker-bee frustration to manifest itself as a palpable cloud of madness…. Alyce is clearly a blossoming psychopath from minute one, but no one notices because they’re too busy tending to their own relentless self-regard.”
Variety listed ALYCE KILLS as one of “15 Scariest Halloween Horrors” and noted Actress Jade Dornfeld’s “tour de force performance as the guilt ridden title character. Her descent into a maelstrom of drugs, sex and psychotic violence is equal parts twisted and tragic…. ‘Alyce Kills’ is a challenging and original work of avant-garde horror.”
