SYNOPSIS:
Inspired by Corinda Marsh’s historical novel “Holocaust in the Homeland: Black Wall Street’s Last Days.”
The book’s account, seen through the eyes of a fictional reporter, focuses on the Greenwood section of Tulsa, Okla., which was called “Black Wall Street” because of its economic success. The riot completely razed Greenwood, destroying the lives of its 10,000 residents.

Director: Tim Story (“Fantastic Four,” the “Ride Along” franchise, the two “Think Like a Man” movies, “Barbershop.” Also directing and executive producing Showtime’s upcoming comedy series “White Famous,” based on Jamie Foxx’s personal experiences.)
